How To Take Care Of Your New Balance Classics Shoes

Always store your shoes in a cool place when not in use. Avoid leaving your New Balance classics shoes in a hot environment, under intense exposure to sunlight or in the boot of your car. And don't wear your shoes for other sports much as tennis, football or basketball. If your shoes get wet, make sure to dry them (including the insoles) thoroughly by placing them near a heat source or putting newspaper inside the shoes to speed up drying process. But don't parched them in a dryer.

If you are an avid runner and is enthusiastic enough to spend your hard-earned money on expensive athletic running shoes, then it really pays to take heed from the experts on foot care and comfort. Avoid tying your New Balance Classics shoes too tightly. Make sure that your shoes fit properly in order to remain comfortable and to boost circulation. Always wear thick, well insulated socks to protect your feet from the cold weather, whereas lightweight, moisture absorbing socks are more suitable for dry or warm weather conditions. Thin socks with Lightning Dry or Coolmax technology are excellent for hot days. In most types of running shoes, thick socks with Micro Acrylic fabrics (or cotton) will absorb and cushion shock.

Keep track of mileage and replace your running shoes after you have run for 350 miles. Depending on the type of New Balance shoes you bought, some can last longer than this distance. How fast your running shoes get worn out are related to your individual running patterns and habits. If you're a avid runner who trains primarily on roads and pavement, your shoe's midsoles and outsoles won't last as long as light runners who use the same shoe to train primarily on grass and softer trails. Also, the more your feet roll inward upon impact, the more stress you will put on the midsole and upper, and the quicker your New Balance shoes will break down, perhaps an average guideline will be to replace your shoes every 6 months if you are an avid runner.

Do not overdo a workout, as this may cause you an injury. Always listen to your feet and if you experience pain, consult your physician before resuming any additional physical activity or exercises. Always walk with your New Balance Classics Shoes in with some light exercises before entering into competitions or intense runnint, as this will allow the shoes to mould to your feet. Use small amounts of vaseline in problem areas. Try on the New Balance Classic shoes later in the day when your feet have swelled to their maximum size and always make sure there is a half-inch of space between the front of the shoe and your longest toe.
